Vodafone’s new Rs 148 plan lets you make unlimited calls on its network apart from offering 2GB of data”
To compete against the fast-growing telecom operator Reliance Jio, Vodafone recently launched yet another affordable plan for prepaid users. The brand’s new Rs 392 plan offers 1GB of 4G or 3G data per day for 28 days along with unlimited local and STD calls on all networks. Now the company is back with yet another affordable data and voice calling combo plan that’s priced at Rs 148. Similar to the earlier plan, the new Vodafone pack is also only available to its prepaid subscribers.

Vodafone’s new Rs 148 plan is offering 2GB of data and unlimited local and STD calls within its network for a validity of 28 days. Those with a 4G smartphone and a 4G Vodafone SIM are getting 2GB of data. However, the users with a 4G-enabled smartphone only, will get 300MB data while the other customers will get 50MB data.
As for the other details of the new plan, calls to other telecom operators cost at 1paisa/second. All local and national SMS in the plan cost 25p/SMS for the same 28 days validity. The plan is available through the My Vodafoneapp under the SuperPlans tab. There’s no word on if and when the company is planning to launch a similar plan for its postpaid users at the moment.
For those looking for a longer validity plan, there’s another Rs 449 prepaid plan. This pack offers you 1GB of data and unlimited local and STD calling to all networks with a validity of 84 days. This plan gives you a total of 84GB of data. With this plan, Vodafone is trying to compete against Reliance Jio’s Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, which has the same validity of 84 days and similar benefits. It’s worth mentioning that pricing and availability of this plan may vary from telecom circle to circle where the brand operates.
