A couple of months after the unveiling of the Redmi Note 5A, it’s time for the more petite model to come one stage – meet the Xiaomi Redmi 5A. The phone will start at just CNY 600 ($91/€77), the same price tag that the 4A carried before it. It is one of the most affordable Androids, period. On this tight budget, you get a 5” screen with 720p resolution and a basic Snapdragon 425 chipset. The phone runs the new MIUI 9 and comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage. You can add a microSD card if you need more storage (there’s a hybrid dual SIM slot). The Redmi 5A has a 13MP main camera (f/2.2) and a 5MP selfie cam (f/2.0).
