NEW DELHI: Samsung has slashed the price of two of its A series smartphones in India. The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) have received a second price cut within two months. The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) were launched at Rs 28,990, and Rs 33,490 respectively. Now, both the devices have got a price cut of Rs 4,000 making the total price drop of Rs 9,000. The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) is now selling at Rs 17,990 and the Galaxy A7 (2017) is available at Rs 20,990. The company launched both the smartphones in March this year in India. In August, the smartphones received a price cut of Rs 5,000. For those unaware, Samsung, with the launch of the Galaxy A7 and the Galaxy A5 2017 versions, brought dust and water resistance (IP68) rating for the first time to Galaxy A series.
