Trai recently introduced DND app in order to keep a check to spam calls and messages. However, Apple refused to include the application on App Store because the app violates Apple’s privacy policies. Apple said that the application seeks user’s private data. It is now reported that the Cupertino giant has approached Trai for ‘more consultation’ on including the application officially on the App Store. Trai’s DND application keeps a log of incoming calls, and also checks for spam SMS and calls. Apple thinks that the SMS box contains all the bank OTPs and several other personal information of the customers, which is the reason why it did not approve the application.
