The phone is available for buying in China. Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 5A in August this year. The phone succeeds the Note series and is the first smartphone to launch in the Note 5 line-up of the company. The phone was launched in two variants- one with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Chipset.
