Xiaomi has launched two new budget Redmi phones, the Y1 Lite and the Y1, in the Indian market. The Y1 Lite and the Y1, according to Xiaomi, belong to a whole new series of phones that will be chiefly targeted towards the youth looking for a big screen and 'the best' selfie experience. While the Y1 is a selfie-centric phone, the Y1 Lite aspires to offer a Redmi 4A-like experience on a bigger screen. The Redmi Y1 Lite, in hindsight, may look like a stretched out Redmi 4A but there are still differences. Also the pricing is a little different. We take a look.
