Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has finally implemented the IVRS-based Aadhaar verification mechanism which was rolled out by private telecom operators a couple of weeks ago. Now, BSNL customers who’re looking to link their mobile number with Aadhaar or reverify their mobile number with Aadhaar can do that by just calling the IVRS toll-free number 14546. The service is currently available in only a few circles such as Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Kerala, Punjab, etc. I have successfully linked my mobile connection to Aadhaar in Telangana region. To recall, two weeks back, private telecom operators such as Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio, Vodafone India, and Idea Cellular have implemented the same process.
