Very recently Reliance Jio revised almost all its prepaid and postpaid plans. Likewise, Airtel now revises two of its existing plans -- Rs 349 and Rs 549 with the aim to offer more data. There's no doubt that Airtel is one of the major players in the telecom industry, but the telco is now planning to top the Indian telecom market by bringing in new plans and revising the new ones. This is how Airtel is strategising to counter Jio. Under the Rs 349 plan, Airtel previously used to offer 1.5GB data per day, however, now after the revision of the plan, the telecom operator is offering more data. The Rs 349 plan is now offering 2GB data every day. The scenario seems to be a little different for the Rs 549 plan. The revised plans were first spotted by TelecomTalk.
