Xiaomi will likely launch the next generation Redmi smartphones- the Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi 5 lineup next week. Several renders of both the smartphones are surfacing on the internet revealing the external look of the smartphone. That said, a new set of renders of the Redmi 5 Plus have leaked online on Chinese microblogging site Weibo. Image Credit: Weibo However, there’s no conclusive evidence that these renders are of the Redmi 5 Plus, but they stand in-line with the previously leaked ones of the said smartphone. As you can see in the images, the Redmi 5 Plus has an 18:9 display and it is expected to be a 5.5-inch HD+ display. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 5 is rumoured to offer a 6-inch Full HD+ display. Thanks to the 18:9 display, the overall footprint of the smartphones remain largely as the current generation Redmi devices.
