Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 , the successor to the popular Redmi Note 4, seems set to launch in the company's homeland. An online listing showing the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 placeholder was spotted on  JD.com . The listing didn't include an image of the product, and can be considered a placeholder for the upcoming Redmi Note 5. After several reports pointed out the listing on e-commerce retailer, it was pulled down tipping that the launch may be imminent.  Xiaomi  has announced reduction on price of its popular Redmi Note 4, and this may be one sign that hints at successor launch.
