WhatsApp to End Support for Windows Phone 8.0, BlackBerry OS, BlackBerry 10 Running Smartphones Today
The popular instant messaging platform, WhatsApp will be ending support for Windows Phone 8.0 , BlackBerry OS , and BlackBerry 10 today. The Facebook-owned company stated this news at the end of 2017, and most of these platforms are already outdated. Microsoft officially ended support for Windows Phone 8.0, while Blackberry has moved from the Blackberry OS to Android after handing over the reigns to TCL Communications. Later today, if you’re using WhatsApp on any of the Windows Phone 8.0 device, BlackBerry OS, and BlackBerry 10 device, it will stop working. WhatsApp, earlier this year, also ended support for Nokia Symbian S60 devices on June 30, 2017.
