Price, release date and offers

The Galaxy Note 8 will be available in Midnight Black and Maple Gold colours at a price of Rs. 67,900. HDFC credit card users can get cashback of Rs. 4,000.

Though it will hit the markets on September 21, pre-bookings have started from today.

There are other early bird offers: a wireless fast charger and one-time screen replacement, both completely free.

What is Samsung bringing to the table this time?

In case you need a quick refresher, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 8 in its Unpacked event, which was held in New York on August 23.

The smartphone features a 6.3-inch Super QuadHD+ Super AMOLED 'Infinity' display and dual rear camera setup. There's a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC processor and a 3300mAh battery under its hood and the device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

Bixby Voice to arrive in India soon

The Note 8 will come fitted with Bixby, Samsung's virtual assistant. Bixby Voice will also be arriving in India on September 30: it has been customized for Indian accents. It can also translate languages- just point the camera at a signboard to start translating!

The S-Pen now allows users to take notes of up to 100 pages even when the phone screen is off.

The stylus has a much finer tip and better pressure sensitivity.
