Jio has launched 3 new packs along with the new feature phone launched today in India. Jio has launched the 3 new charges MRP 24 , MRP 54 and MRP 153 for the JIO phone users.
While with JIO phone is free users will have to do a recharge of Rs. 153 in order to enjoy the data benefits. The JIOPhone though is marketed as free but comes with a caveat of security deposit of Rs. 1500 which is refundable after a period of 3 years. Though the phone is marketed to come with unlimited data there is a capping of 512 MB.
Coming To The New Pack Details
JIO MRP Rs 153 Pack Details
The Rs 153 pack comes with unlimted calling benefit and 300 SMS, users will get unlimited data but a fair usage capping is installed which will limit the speed after the users have consumed 512 MB of data. The capping may be increased or reduced at a later stage but for now the company has shared that the capping will be there for the Rs 153 pack takers.
JIO Pack MRP Rs 24 Details
The Rs 24 MRP Pack comes with 2 days of validity and is aimed at users who want to buy a daily pack and use it. To make things more affordable for consumers who don’t want to spend Rs 153 on the pack at one go the Rs. 24 pack is ideal. It is not shared by the company what will be the daily data capping but it is also likely to have 512 MB of capping as the larger Rs. 153 pack.
JIO Weekly Pack MRP Rs 54 Details
The MRP 54 pack is the weekly variant of the MRP 24 pack and comes with 7 days of validity instead of 2 days. Buyers can opt for this pack who have limited spending capacity and don’t want to purchase the monthly pack.
MRP 309 JIO Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer – This is actually a 54 days pack which was introduced by JIO couple of days back and comes with 1 GB /day of data instead of the 512 MB capping. Jio at the press conference have mentioned that JIO users who want to stream the content from their phone to their TV using the new JIO streaming cable will need to recharge with the Rs 309 pack.
Couple of things are not clear though that users having a Rs 153 pack will they be able to stream the content or it is required to have the 309 pack and will there be any changes to the validity if the 309 pack is taken by the JIO Phone users.
